Pattacott Farm Glamping and Camping is a friendly family-run campsite located a mere twenty-minute drive from the buzzing town of Launceston. The site serves as an excellent base for the kids who can enjoy the thrills of farm life, resting on an active working farm. Take the tots on a stroll around the site and introduce them to rare breed sheep, a herd of cattle, pigs, and free-roaming chickens who often come to have a nose around the campers. The owners are more than happy to arrange rides for the tykes who’d like to ride the ponies on-site during their stay. The collection of farm animals contribute to the delicious items for sale at the campsite, including eggs, homemade sausages, burgers and homemade bread – perfect for a barbeque at the end of an active day. Campfires are encouraged at this laid back site, so feel free to get the fire going for alfresco grilled meals or cosy fires to keep the family nice and toasty on nights of stargazing. The night skies are incredibly clear, owing to a lack of light pollution in the area. Extra supplies are available in the nearest shop, set four miles away or at the supermarkets in Bude and Launceston located twenty minutes away. Pets most welcome throughout the year.
