Highertown Farm is a compact, basic campsite boasting stunning vistas of the stunning South East Cornwall coast. This green and relaxed National Trust site rests a mere 3/4 of a mile from the delightfully secluded beach of Lansallos Cove. It offers no-frills camping where guests can plug in, kick back and fall in love with the beautiful scenery without the usual distractions of the city. Sit back and take in the sights and sounds of the open countryside and farmland as you breathe in the fresh air and shake off the complexities of modern life. The campsite rests down a narrow lane, making it best suited for tents and the smaller models of campervan and caravans. A friendly ranger team who care for the coast and countryside around South East Cornwall are more than happy to share their knowledge on the local area and take great pride in maintaining a green and clean camping space for the utmost relaxation. Picturesque coastal towns like Polperro, Fowey and Looe are all within easy reach, making it easy to savour the best of both worlds and get a real taste of Cornwall’s stunning landscapes. Guests are welcome to enjoy informal camping on the main grass field with a gentle slope. Eight electric meters are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Dogs are welcome.
