Badgers Folly is a quiet, compact family-run site tucked amid the leafy greenery of a World Heritage Site. This Caravan Club member has just five spacious pitches, each with private electric meters, on an idyllic camping space. During the day, the soothing sounds of birdsong blend harmoniously with the sounds of flowing water from the bubbling stream, creating a relaxing atmosphere that makes the hustle-bustle of modern life met away into the distance. Wildlife flourishes in the surroundings and shade from the trees provide delightful corners for stretching out with a book. The owners have added a hammock amid the silver birch trees, next to the burbling stream, providing campers with a lovely spot for lying down in the shady meadow. Each pitch also has a picnic bench for alfresco nibbles, and there are several drinking taps plus Wi-Fi for guest use. Mosey over to the service area to access the chemical disposal point, wastewater disposal, hand washing, and recycling. A handy shop stocking fresh bread, local meat, plus an organic farm shop are just up the road from your pitch. There are plenty of local walks and footpaths to explore right from the campsite, and the Coast to Coast Devoran to Portreath cycle route passes a short distance down the road. Dogs are welcome.
