Cosawes Park

Cosawes Park

Located: Campsites in Truro, Cornwall

Cosawes Park is a family-owned site, placed in a stunning valley between the cathedral city of Truro and the harbour town of Falmouth. The peaceful park is a stunningly serene place to set up camp and boasts an abundance of wildlife including otters, owls, badgers, buzzards, woodpeckers, and deer. When you’re not gazing at the stealthy critters, potter around in the picturesque village of Perranarworthal, and stop at the local pub for drinks and a chinwag with the regulars who can offer some valuable travel pointers. The Eden Project is bound to come in highly recommended and provides nature lovers with the chance to stroll through award-winning tropical forests and Mediterranean olive groves with ease. If jaw-dropping scenery is more your vibe, make your way to the Lizard Peninsula and soak in spectacular coastal scenery to your heart’s desire, followed by a stop at the sleepy fishing villages for snacks and shopping. Head a little further to access Land’s End and explore a handful of exciting attractions in the area. Families with young kids can enjoy thrilling rides at Flambards Theme Park and the Crealy Great Adventure Park. Stock up on meats and bits before you head back to base, and settle in for a sunset barbeque. Tents and touring vehicles are welcome. Pets allowed.
