Porthtowan Tourist Park

Porthtowan Tourist Park is a compact, friendly, family-run site set the distance of a trifling mile from the picturesque village of Porthtowan and its excellent beach. Guests are welcome to set up camp on electric grass and hardstanding plots nestled in the peaceful countryside and soak in the laid-back atmosphere. The park rests amid tranquil, countryside settings, with emerald fields and winding country lanes peppered around the area. The A30 is only a few miles away affording easy access for adventures further afield in Truro and Portreath. The Tehidy Country Park and the South West Coast Path are also within easy reach. Spend your days kicking back at the relaxed campsite as you sip on local wine, soak in the scenery and whip up hot meals courtesy of the barbeque. If you’re keen to explore the local area, stick to the north coast, venture inland or make your way to the stunning south coast. Bask in the golden sunshine on the golden sand beach of Porthtowan, a buzzing spot for surfers and families. The kids can explore rock pools and caves while parents stretch out on the stunning stretch of sand, and much on snacks from a well-stocked hamper. Barbeques are encouraged and pets welcome.
