Sunny Meadows Tourist Park is a quiet and roomy site, located just 2-miles from Perranporth and six from the lively town of Newquay. Set on the coastal road, the park has set aside ten acres for canines to scamper about while guests stretch out with a book or well-stocked hamper and savour the views. Spacious pitches are spread out over five acres, and there is heaps of space to kick back with a Cornish gin and tonic while your choice of barbeque bits sizzle and cook slowly over the firepit. Golfing enthusiasts are often pleased as punch to discover an 18-hole link golf course sandwiched between the campsite and pretty Perranporth. Green riding enthusiasts can clip-clop along the quiet country lanes, while the more seasoned horsemen and women take on more challenging routes into Perranporth. Thalassophiles of all ages will have plenty to enjoy on the lovely Perranporth beach, which extends 3-miles along the beautiful Atlantic surf, making it a popular spot for watersports, walking, and family-friendly fun. The usual collection of restaurants, cafes, gift shops, banks and filling stations are available in the seaside resort. If you’re in the mood to laze on-site, the nearby village of Goonhavern, a short stroll away, has a pub, restaurant and shop. Dogs are welcome.
