Fairlinch Camping is a fantastically spacious and friendly site, located just five minutes from the golden shores and azure waters of Saunton Sands beach. For eleven months, the campsite operates as a quiet, traditional Devonshire farm. The metal gates only swing open from the last weekend in July to the first weekend of September, providing a small, simple yet glorious slice of camping haven to the outside world. Go ahead and pick your spot on the unmarked field and stretch out as you soak in the views with a cold drink of choice in hand. Feel free to fire up the grill as you mull over the best places to visit during your stay. The meadow's impressive size prevents it from looking overloaded, and there's an abundance of space for the nippers to scamper about, make friends, and enjoy ball games. The flat bases lie at the base of the campsite, and, for guests who don't mind camping on a slight slope, there is the satisfaction of jaw-dropping vistas from the summit. The delights of Saunton Sands beach, set a few minutes away, is perfect for family fun and boasts some of the best surf conditions in all of Britain. Pets most welcome.
