Hunger Hill Yurt Holidays is a friendly back to nature campsite offering comfortable stays and authentic outdoor adventures. A collection of well-equipped, spacious, and tastefully decorated yurts rest on a quiet smallholding, sharing space with several farm animals, including Kune pigs, chickens, ducks, and a friendly canine that enjoys being fussed over. The abodes offer a rustic, no-frills camping stay that is certain to delight guests who want a blend of the great outdoors and comfortable camping abodes. Watch the fairy lights and Moroccan lanterns bob in the evening wind as you kick back inside a roomy unit, kitted out with sheepskins and kilim cushions. Huddle around the flickering wood-burning stove and feel warm and cosy on those cold nights. Step outside to soak in views and sip on a glass of wine or mug of beer as you gently rock your private hammock and savour a slower pace of life. There are picnic tables and an open fireplace with a barbeque grill outside each tent, ensuring many happy hours of slow-cooked meals and sing-alongs under the stars. The friendly owners provide firewood for campfires and barbeques at no charge. Sorry, no pets are allowed at present.
