Karrageen Caravan and Camping Park is a family-run site nestled in a stunning valley, enveloped by miles of National Trust protected coastline. The site rests on the southern tip of Devon, a mere mile from the tempting sandy bay of Hope Cove, ideally positioned a mile below the site. You'll feel like you can almost roll down the gently undulating hill to the golden sands of Hope Cove below as you kick back on this neatly laid out park and savour the slower pace of life by the coast. Phil and Nikki Higgin's Welcoming owners are often seen pottering around the site, keeping things in tip-top shape, chatting with guests, and offering pointers on the local area. There's plenty to see and do around the site, starting with Hope Cove – a cracking fishing village with sandy beaches and rock pools, a mere mile down the lane. Salcombe often called a sailing mecca, is just 4-miles away and often called the most beautiful estuary in England. The park boasts an abundance of space for stretching out and relaxing, with oodles of space for the proverbial swinging of a cat. Space and peace are the orders of the day at this tranquil spot. There are no clubs, bars or children's playgrounds; however, there is a well-stocked shop with freshly baked delights like croissants baguettes, plus ample room for running or ball games. Dogs are welcome.
