Doone Valley Campsite is a peaceful, well-maintained riverside camping space nestled amid unspoilt surroundings. Simple facilities, which are clean and amply adequate for a restful holiday, alongside grassed non-electric pitches, enhance the no-frills camping feel and provide guests with a quiet, scenic base in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. There are several great hiking routes from the gates, winding over some of the most scenic portions of Exmoor, and the freedom to arrive back at base to set up a campfire or a sizzling barbeque creates the ideal atmosphere for an outdoor adventure. No light pollution brings out the best of the shimmering canopy above – perfect for gazing at whilst falling asleep under the twinkling stars. Tents, touring vehicles, glampers, and pets are welcome.
