Appledore Park is a five-star awarded site, nestled in peaceful surroundings on the fringes of the lush landscapes within the Dartmoor National Park. The family and couple-friendly site rest within a UNESCO North Devon Biosphere Reserve and affords quick access to Okehampton's historic town nearby. Resident owners Tim and Rebecca and their friendly pooch Fester are at hand to personally supervise the park, ensuring all guests have nothing short of a carefree, relaxing stay. Pitch a tent or park up on optional electric grass or pitches, and bask in the relaxed atmosphere as you soak in the views of the manicured gardens, peppered with over 4.500 newly planted trees and hedges. Rolling farmland enclose the eight-acre site, which offers stunning views over the romantic, verdant Devon countryside, and the farm. If you're not one for the roughing it out in a tent or touring vehicle, enjoy the luxuries of staying in a well-equipped bell tent beside the gleaming on-site lake. Sleep like a log on the large bed with luxury bedding, and enjoy lashing of hot water at the five-star awarded shower and toilet block set aside for the glampers. A brazier with a grill offers guests the freedom to enjoy alfresco eats whenever the need arises. Dogs are most welcome.
