Oak Tree Lane is a friendly, family-run site set over forty verdant acres in the scenic settings of west Devon. The welcoming campsite overlooks Dartmoor National Park and lies a short trot from water-based fun on the gleaming waters of Roadford Lake. Adults and small sorts can enjoy a wealth of traditional camping activities like communal campfires and an abundance of green, open spaces for stretching out and playing. The nippers will love making friends with the baby farm animals on-site, including pigs, sheep, goats and farm chickens who merrily nose around the outdoors and come to have a look at the guests. Let the tykes gambol on the farm and help feed the animals during their stay. Farm cat Snowy is also keen to receive some attention from the campers. Kick back in the serene, scenic settings as you soak in vistas of the lush national park in the distance, and enjoy a slower pace of life as you shake off the stress of everyday life. Roadford Lake is within easy reach for fun family days of adrenaline-fuelled watersport adventures. Pristine beaches on the north and south coasts are under an hours’ distance, and a wealth of attractions are within easy reach owing to the site’s handy location in the middle of Devon. Barbeques are encouraged, and friendly dogs are most welcome to tag along.
