Whitehill Country Park is a family-run campsite and wildlife haven, located an ideal two and a half miles from the coast, providing campers with a delightful blend of countryside and coastal capers. Guests can enjoy the peace and greenery of Devon’s romantic rolling countryside while staying a few miles from Torbay, The English Riviera. There are numerous scenic beaches a short drive away, providing guests with fab family days out filled with sun, sea, sand and watersport antics. The park once served as a stud farm where magnificent horses were bred for fieldwork and shows. Well-maintained amenities are now housed in the former stables and the old stone farm. Spend many exciting afternoons lounging on golden sand beaches together with the tykes, who’ll have loads of fun as they explore rock pools, build sandcastles and enjoy a refreshing ice cream on a sunny day. Potter around historic towns like Totnes and Dartmouth, or make a quick stop at the local butcher for bits to slap on the grill at sunset. If you’re keen to unwind at the base, make use of the excellent facilities, including a heated pool, craft centre and scenic woodland walks.
