Crooked Willows Farm is the place to be if your next holiday destination holds a divine blend of green, open spaces, easy access to a local pub, heaps of room for walking, and an abundance of wildlife. The forty-acre farm rests on the Holt Heath National Nature Reserve border, resting in between the friendly Dorset villages of Holt and Three Legged Cross. The campsite enjoys a splendid location, affording quick access for coastal capers at buzzing resorts like Poole and Bournemouth, set a half-hour from the site. The peaceful glades, open moors and clifftop walks of the New Forest are also an easy half-hour drive away, providing guests with a splendid blend of coast and countryside. This friendly back to basics site moves its guests around the farm several times a year to ensure excellent grazing conditions for the horses and cattle; however, wherever you are placed on the site, a fertilizer-free field, compost toilets and drinking water access are guaranteed. While campfires are not permitted for safety reasons, portable firepits are more than welcome. Campers can hire a firepit from the owners and purchase wood at the site. Restaurants, pubs, and a supermarket are a ten-minute drive away in Wimborne Minster. Pets most welcome.
