Abbey Home Farm

Enjoy a blend of eco camping, cooking over a crackling open fire, and pristine natural beauty at Abbey Home Farm, a family-run site set on an extensive 1600 acre mixed organic farm, with award-winning conveniences. The low-key, off-grid campsite is perfect for adventurers searching for a no-frills camping experience paired with sweeping views and heaps of space to stretch out and enjoy the peace of countryside living. The Greenfield Meadow is a splendid spot for families, with an abundance of room, rustic settings and a car-free environment for the safety of the young explorers. Showers are located inside rough huts constructed with wood from the farm. The following field is set aside for campervans and guests who wish to pitch up alongside their vehicle. A yurt, shepherds hut, and a four-yurt camp for groups are nestled elsewhere on the premises. The aptly titled Magical Glade is indeed a lovely spot nuzzled in the woods, an entire mile away from the rest of the campers, with enough space for no more than three small tents. The trees in this clearing were only planted in 1991, offering campers a delightful blend of sunlight and seclusion. There is an award-winning farm shop plus craft and cookery courses. Sorry, no pets allowed.
