Henstridge Golf and Leisure is a spacious, rural campsite nuzzled in the heart of the rolling, leafy greenery of the Blackmore Vale, just off the A30. The friendly, well-maintained site rests on the border dividing Somerset and Dorset, a five-minute drive from the amenities in the picturesque village of Henstridge and just fifteen minutes from the buzzing town of Shaftesbury. Guests are forgiven for taking a day or two to get better acquainted with the park, owing to its extensive grounds extending over 70-acres. Angling folk are advised to bring along the appropriate equipment to make use of the well-stocked coarse fishing lake on-site. If golfing is more your thing, pack your clubs for relaxing games of golf on the nine-hole golf course. Wake up to the trills of birdsong and soak in yet another stunning sunrise in these pristine parts before sitting down to a hot full English breakfast courtesy of the clubhouse with a bar and grill. Then it’s off to the lake for an eventful morning landing tench, carp and roach. Take a break for a bit of lunch, followed by an afternoon perfecting your swing on the driving range and putting green. Stroll over to the bar for evening beers as you watch a game on the big screen.
