A stunningly scenic spot set on the fringes of the picturesque village of Banwell where you can enjoy a rural getaway with panoramic views in almost every direction. The small, level touring park rests at the base of the rolling Mendip Hills and enjoys a handy location just five miles from lively Weston-Super-Mare and two miles from the M5. The family-run site came under new ownership in 2016 and provides guests with excellent camping options. Families and adults are more than welcome to set up camp on electric and non-electric grass bases and enjoy the scenery. Appreciate the peaceful atmosphere paired with panoramic views from the lush three and a half acre camping field, and let the laid-back atmosphere soothe the mind. The large, flat pitches are well-drained and are perfect for camping. Keep your beverages cold in the fridges or grab ice for alfresco drinks from the freezer. A quick drive opens up a wealth of amenities and attractions in places like Somerset, Wiltshire, Bristol and Bath. Immerse yourself in oodles of culture, learn of famed author Jane Eyre's life and times, or visit the world-famous Roman baths. Rumble back to base with a good supply of bits for the barbeque and marshmallows for pleasant and quiet nights. Fire pits are allowed on some pitches and the use of barbecues are encouraged. Pets welcome. The site is ideal for families and couples in search of a quiet escape.
