Stonehenge Touring Park is a small family-run site tucked away on the fringes of Salisbury Plain, offering guests a lovely 2-acre field for camping and fine views of the surrounding countryside. The site is an excellent base for exploring Wiltshire's stunning countryside and varied attractions. It affords effortless access to the surrounding countryside where one can walk and cycle to their heart's content. The kids will also enjoy frolicking around in green open spaces that provide parents with an excellent way to tire the nippers out while introducing them to the good old-fashioned fun of open-air exploration. Look forward to an informal camping atmosphere with none of the stuffy rules and plenty of freedom to kick back and get right into the spirit of your well-earned escape. Despite the relaxing atmosphere on-site, the owners and the friendly site team do not slack with standards, offering guests spotless and well-maintained amenities that have earned a 4-star rating from the English Tourist Board. The site contains 30 mixed pitches ideal for tents, small caravans, motorhomes, and tents. There are 23 hardstanding plots with the remainder set on grass, plus electric meters for 2/3 of the site. A small shop on the premises is open from Easter to October, and takeaway food is available at budget-friendly prices. Pets are welcome.
