The Isle of Skye has always been a stunningly scenic spot in Scotland, boasting ragged mountain ranges, glittering fairy pools, crumbling castles, and an abundance of local wildlife. Iain and Bryony, owners of Camus More Camping, have lived on the island since 1989 and welcome guests to set up camp on their peaceful camping space with only a dozen pitches. The campsite has been in the MacDonald family for over four generations, and the owners began a wee campsite some 20 years ago, managing to keep it under the radar. With no computer or website, Camus More Camping is a secreted gem, known only to a small group of camping enthusiasts and the occasional lost soul stumbling upon the campsite by accident. The plots are separated from the beach by a stone wall and share access to two toilets and an outdoor sink. Pets are welcome.
