The Crofters Snug enjoys a fantastic location on Scotland's open northeast coast and just 15-minutes from the stunning coastline, spectacular scenery and thriving wildlife of John O'Groats. Welcoming owners Karina and Jo began to put down a plan to leave the rat race for good following a memorable camping trip to Ireland, and they aim to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable space for campers of all ages. There are two glamping pods and a shepherd's hut for guests who like to treat themselves – complete with free Wi-Fi, a firepit, kitchenette, and ensuite bathroom. An additional five-pitch motorhome and caravan site, each with electric meters, water and grey waste points, are also available. The campsite boasts open, uninterrupted views across Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands, plus the jagged cliffs of Dunnet Head and the pretty island of Stroma. Pets are welcome.
