Speyside

Speyside By Craigellachie Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a sheltered, friendly site located on a south-facing slope in a lovely wooded area, offering guests privacy and peace while preserving the open feel of the site. The campsite rests a short stroll from several reputed local distilleries, making it an excellent spot for those who want to get a look at the process behind the scene and sample a few blends. The proximity of the site to the distilleries ensures a safe and quick way for guests to stumble back to base should the sampling get out of hand. Come on by and savour a real taste of the Highlands as you shun the worries of everyday life for the sprawling countryside, clear fresh air and heaps of space for explores, wanders, and stretching out. Sit back in your spacious pitch and enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside from this peaceful rural site. The local wildlife thrives in the unspoiled landscapes around the site, so grab your field glasses and observe a variety of bird life and other critters with the kids. Walking enthusiasts can amble along the scenic 84-mile Speyside Way that connects the stunning coastline with the imposing Grampian Mountains. Mosey over to the coasts of Moray Firth, Elgin, Buckie and Nairn for days of sun, sea and sand, or spot dolphins at the Scottish Dolphin Centre.
