Kick-start your stay an active day of sightseeing: head out to explore crumbling castles, clamber up imposing mountains, pedal along leafy cycling paths or throw a line over gleaming waters brimming with salmon and trout. Head back to base to soothe sore muscles in the heated indoor pool followed by a delicious meal at the restaurant. If you’re too tired to mingle, grab a dinner to go from the café and head back to your spacious plot or swish holiday home for a quiet meal under the twinkling stars.
