The Lismore Campsite is a warm, homey base for campers to uncover the stunning landscapes of the island of Lismore. This eco-friendly campsite provides a tranquil ambience for peaceful, remote island getaways for adventurers young and old. The campsite extends over six spectacular acres brimming with views, green scenery and wildlife. The team is dedicated to maintaining an environmentally-friendly site, planting over two thousand five hundred native trees, and offering guests photovoltaic electricity, solar-heated water, and an air source heat pump. A natural swimming pool adds to the island atmosphere and is an excellent spot for a refreshing dip. Stroll across the site, and pick organic fruits and vegetables for your meals, or hunt for fresh eggs laid by free-range hens. Wake up to stunning sunrises and sunsets over the enclosing hills, from a variety of accommodation on offer. The site accommodates tent and touring pitches, alongside lodges, cabins, static caravans, and yurts. The glamping options are well-appointed with a fully fitted kitchen, snug sofas, and triple-glazed sliding doors that lead out onto the outside deck – ideal for sitting back and drinking in stunning views across Ben Nevis and the mountains. The site is ideal for adventurers of all ages and opens up a wealth of outdoor activities like walking, cycling, and wildlife watching.
