Lochgilphead Caravan Park is a small, family-run site, set just inside Lochgilphead with views out to the meandering Crinan Canal. He site rests alongside the A83 with proximity to Loch Fyne. Accessing the site is extremely easy, and its excellent position ensures guests are within walking distance to both shops and eateries. Use the campsite as a base to explore the surrounding areas, the islands, and Mid Argyll by car, bike or foot. Campervan, motorhome and caravan owners can park in a spacious serviced pitch with an electric point, drainage, and a private water connection. Guests have access to a host of camping facilities like spotless, heated toilets, hot showers, laundry, chemical disposal, kitchen conveniences, a fridge and freezer, gas exchange, and Wi-Fi access. The site is disabled-friendly and offers recycling amenities. A shop, bar, and restaurant are under a one-mile distance from the campsite, and Crinan Canal is a quiet stroll away. Hop on a bike and follow the canal on a bike ride, or pop into the local pubs for a friendly chat with locals over a drink of your choice followed by delicious home-made food. The site welcomes dogs who must be kept on a lead at all times except when being exercised in the campsites dedicated dog walk. Parents can enjoy an alfresco snack in the shade of the picnic tables on the site as they keep a watchful eye over the tots at the on-site playground.
