Ideally located just a mile from the picturesque village of Carinish, the relaxed campsite looks out over the adjacent island of Benbecula as well as the rolling hills of North and South Uist. Set up camp and settle in to savour the rolling terrain, generously sprinkled with tall grass that dances to the wind as the brilliant blue ocean glitter under big skies. The gentle rise and fall of the hills of Uist reflect on the clear waters, and the empty landscape gives one a feeling of unwinding on a private slice of heaven. Wake up to glorious sunsets and the gentle lapping of waves on the white sand beaches. Enjoy lazy seashore walks before breakfast or head over to the mist-clad moorlands for delightful rambles if that’s more your thing. A wealth of lochs ensure fishing enthusiast has heaps of locations to throw a line and enjoy idyllic hours of fishing. The site offers a range of spacious grass and hardstanding pitches with or without electric hook-ups. Facilities include a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, laundry, drinking water points, chemical disposal, a communal kitchen with a fridge or freezer and Wi-Fi access.
