If you want the best of the rolling Devon countryside and the coast, pack up your bags and head over to the Hillhead Caravan Park. This spacious campsite offers a variety of pitches, each offering guests spectacular vistas of the seas, and enclosing coastlines. You’re in proximity (thirteen miles to be precise) to the port city of Aberdeen, and smack bang in the heart of Scotland’s ‘castle county’ and right on the castle trail in the Gordon District. Whiskey enthusiasts are pleased to discover they are near the only malt whiskey trail on the planet that meanders into the spectacular rugged scenery of the Grampian Highlands. Drive through both Deeside and Donside to Balmoral, and the Royal Deeside, or head further afield for lovely sandy beaches, exciting steam railway journeys and zoos. Walkers can amble by towering cliffs at the sandy Broadsands beach. There’s so much to see and do at the campsite, especially for families. Let the tots splash around in the heated outdoor pool, or burn pent up energy at the playground. If the weather turns foul, head over to the indoor games room for hours of fun. The kids can take part in exciting themed events, and evening entertainment during the holiday seasons.
