The site portrays the genuine spirit of country life and presents visitors with stunning sceneries of open farmland, rolling countryside and lovely surrounds. The site itself rests on a small farm amid lush countryside and is a quiet, secluded spot within a rural, picturesque village. The family-run site is a nature-friendly grass farm with not much else around but vast fields sprinkled with grazing sheep. Shed the stress of modern life as you soak in the views, and enjoy the pastoral settings and clear dark skies brimming with sparkling stars. Use the fab site as a base for your adventures within the Scottish borders brimming with stunning natural landscapes, and tourist towns speckled with supermarkets, sea views, and independent shops. Soak in sea views as you much on a packed picnic, or explore crumbling Elizabethan fortresses. Take a relaxed stroll to the Holy Island when the tide subsides and explore a restored castle and eleventh-century priory before sampling the Lindisfarne Mead created with fermented grapes, herbs, honey and pure natural water. Bikers can take on the Tweed Cycle Way while walkers can follow the footpaths from the site that lead to the nearest village Foulden, and explore the old cottages and ancient barns in the area.
