Riverside Caravan Park is a serene, spacious camping and touring site, spread out over a generous ten acres, no more than two and a half miles from the buzzing market town of Hawick. Riverside rests within the gorgeous Scottish Borders and is an hour and a half’s drive from the wealth of attractions and local amenities of thriving cities like Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle. Jedburgh and Kelso are also within easy proximity to the campsite and serves as an excellent base for both rural escapes and urban adventures. Wander through the unspoiled natural beauty of the gloriously green surrounds, or rumble over to cosmopolitan cities for superb retail therapy, exciting nightlife and a wealth of historical attractions. A lovely woodland walk begins at the site, allowing guests the freedom to take in the scenery at a pace of choice. Fishing folk are encouraged to bring along gear to enjoy hours of peaceful angling from the site. Outdoorsy types can explore the scenic surrounds on horseback, on a bike, on foot, or beautiful hikes. Discounted golfing is available to all guests at the sister site, Lillardsedge Holiday Park and Golf Course located an easy twenty-minute drive away. Feel free to unwind at Riverside Park or use it as a base for day trips and adventures. The usual facilities like toilets, hot showers, washing up area, laundry and chemical disposal are available. Riverside also provides free Wi-Fi for streaming movies on rainy days and planning your travel itinerary for the day.
