Head out on peaceful walks along quiet country lanes, or pedal your way across lush farmland and countryside. Hop in a boat and glide across the gleaming waters as you soak in the scenery from a different angle, or pop into sleepy villages, or explore historical sites nearby – the choice is yours. Wind your way through the picturesque valley and take in the views of the sparkling waters of St Mary's Loch and Loch of the Lowes that reflect the rolling mountains and blue skies. An added perk of camping in this back-to-basics site is that campers are no more than a short trot away from delicious pub grub. If you're too tired to whip up a meal, stroll over to the on-site restaurant and take your pick of fresh, hill-farmed venison, lamb, partridge and pheasant. Fishing folk can gleefully make their way to the two lochs that brim with brown trout, perch, pike, and eels.
