Dam View Lodges

Dam View Lodges

Located: Campsites in Alloa, Clackmannanshire

Nestled away amid a hundred acres of lush farmland, Dam View Lodges enjoy an excellent position on the border of Gartmorn Dam, the oldest reservoir in Scotland. The campsite enjoys a perfect location, an easy twenty-five-minute drive from lively Stirling, affording easy access to a wealth of local amenities and historical attractions like Stirling Castle and the towering National Wallace Museum which offers panoramic vistas from an observation platform. Outdoor enthusiasts need only take a thirty-minute drive from the site to access scenic treks around the Ochill Hills, followed by a well-earned pampering session at a spa located around the same distance. Guests in search of livelier destinations can rumble over to the cosmopolitan cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow located just over an hour’s drive from Dam View. Stock up on meats and other bits for a barbeque, mosey back to base and fire up the grill for alfresco eats at sundown. Spend most of the evening gazing up at wonderfully clear skies, before retiring to a spacious, well-equipped holiday home for a refreshing nights rest on crisp white sheets and a king-sized bed. There is an open plan living room for card or board games with the family, plus a rolltop hot tub for soothing soaks with a glass of bubbly in hand. Sorry, no pets allowed.
