Greenloch House

Nestled in a quiet corner of Galloway in South West Scotland, Greenloch House is a hidden gem enclosed by the sparkling waters of Soulseat Loch. Spacious and friendly, the campsite rests on five stunning acres of landscaped gardens and verdant woodland, creating the ideal atmosphere to kick back and enjoy an escape into nature. Galloway brims with exciting attractions that range from white sand beaches and gleaming hill lochs to historic ports and stunning golf courses. Make your way down a meandering tree-lined drive onto a striking neck of land looking out over romantic farmland, a gleaming loch, and the mist-clad hills of the Penwhirn Moors. Relaxed and uncrowded the campsite is a great place to sit back and soak in the spectacular views of the enclosing rural area and forget about the cares of everyday life. The lovely seventy-five acre Soulset Loch is the perfect fit for fishing enthusiasts. Cast a line over the still waters and try your hand at securing rainbow and brown trout. The natural waters and feeding habitat ensure that these species can range from 1.5lbs to a whopping 7 lbs in weight. Feel free to use bait, fly, or spinner techniques to lure in your catch and add the freshly seized trout on the sizzling barbeque grill.
