The loch in the middle is jam-packed with carp, roach, and tench, making it near impossible for spouses to grapple the fishing rod away from their partners. If the loch doesn’t quite do it, pack in fishing gear and mosey on to the River North Esk nearby for hours of happy salmon, and trout fishing. Angling in Angus has never been better. While the fisherfolk are reeling in the lines, why not take an amble around the lovely, green site? Amble through the beautiful shaded woodland in the park, or lace up your walking shoes, and take numerous hill hikes in the enclosing area.
