Set a mere five miles from the thriving town of St Andrews, Alba Yurts is a peaceful, secluded spot to kick back and unwind amid stunning natural surrounds and enjoy quick access to a range of open-air pursuits like fishing and walking. The spacious site rests in sizable fifteen-acre farmland in proximity to the Cameron Reservoir and Bankhead Moss Nature Reserve affording hours of peaceful riverside walks, picnic and woodland stroll. Fishing enthusiasts can throw a line over the gleaming waters and patiently wait for a catch or two which can be taken back to base and placed over a barbeque grill for a deliciously fresh meal. If you're a keen golfer, hop over to St Andrews, the home of golf, and enjoy a range of putting facilities that cater to seasoned players, intermediates and beginners. While you're in the buzzing town, be sure to visit famed attractions like St Andrews Cathedral, St Andrews Castle, and St Rules Tower among other attractions. Head out for a guided tour of the new Eden Brewery and Distillery, or wander along to explore the small winding streets and numerous nooks in a picturesque East Neuk fishing village. Head out for a tour of the Isle of May from the small coastal town of Anstruther or stock up on camping essentials at the monthly farmers' markets held in Cupar, the county town of Fife. Head back to base to unwind in your cosy yurt that contains enough sleeping space for four adventurers. Each yurt features a wood-burning stove, beds, cushions, chairs, plus cooking utensils. Dogs are welcome throughout the year.
