Perfectly positioned within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Callander Woods Holiday Park is the perfect base for open-air adventures and rests a smooth mile from the centre of Callander. The site is ideal for a nature-filled escape from the mundane drone of modern life and is an excellent base for uncovering the natural wonders of the Scottish Highlands. Use the site as your gateway to heavenly hikes like the Rob Roy Way, and the Birds of Prey Trail or see the twenty-one Munros within the Trossachs National Park and scale one if you’re feeling up to the task. Guests can also explore the Great Trossachs forest, or head out for water-based antics like paddle boarding, surfing, and canoeing. Fishing folk can mosey over to the banks of the River Teith and cast a line for a catch. The lucky ones who land a sizeable catch can gleefully head back to base to slap it on the barbeque for a well-deserved fresh meal under the twinkling night sky. The campsite offers both hardstanding and grass plots for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans.
