Fishing folk best pack in their gear and bring the family over to Fron Farm Fishery, a small, family-run campsite and fishery nestled in the gorgeous Welsh countryside. Blend the delights of your favourite sport with peaceful camping settings and easy access to the picturesque village of Bronant, and the bustling market at Tregaron, located a five and a fifteen-minute drive from the site, respectively. There are four well-stocked lakes, two for fly fishing and two for coarse fishing. There is a crafty forty-pound carp that lives in the murky depths of one of the sparkling lakes, so come on by and try your hand at reeling in the slippery creature. The water bodies at this fishery range from an acre to two and a half and feature natural, spring-fed lakes restocked with rainbow, blue and native brown trout. On the adjacent grounds, there are two more lakes housing smaller fish and the elusive forty-pound carp. The kids can get back to nature at this first-rate site enclosed by hedgerows, with majestic red kites swooping in from the heavens and dragonflies skimming merrily over the glistening ponds. There is heaps of space for the kids to burn pent up energy as they scamper about and make friends.
