Small, select and personally-run are just some of the words used to describe the friendly Mill House Caravan Park. There are only fifteen static caravan holiday homes at the base, affording heaps of space and freedom to enjoy a range of open-air games. Touring and tent plots are also available for traditional campers with or without electric hookups. There is a small gleaming lake that Mallard ducks and Moorhens often like to visit, plus a separate trout and fishing lake for keen anglers. There are plenty of scenic walks nearby for the outdoorsy types, and the buzzing seaside village of Borth is a mere mile away. Take the kids out for lazy days on the beach filled with treks on sandy hills, games on the beach and hours of splashing and peering at marine life in rock pools. The village also boasts an excellent 18-hole golf course, plus a range of restaurants and pubs serving fresh nosh. Sorry, no pets allowed.
