Canvas and Campfires is a small, friendly glamping site tucked away on an 11-acre smallholding, filled with fauna, foliage and heaps of open spaces for stretching out and relaxing. The campsite enjoys an excellent position, a mere fifteen-minute drive from the Cardigan Bay coast's delights and just three miles from the market town of Lampeter, affording easy access for sunny days at the beach and local amenities. The kids will love making friends with the neighbours on the farm, including a range of animals like rare badger-faced sheep. Bring along your field glasses to observe an abundance of local wildlife in the area, including woodpeckers, goldfinches, red kites and buzzards. A stream bubbles down one portion of the eleven acres, making its way into the sparkling River Grannell. A beautifully restored 19th-century farmhouse and an old stone barn now serve as a snug holiday cottage. There are just five well-equipped safari tents rest in an open meadow, providing heaps of space for the adults to kick back and soak in the peaceful atmosphere while the nippers observe wildlife and slip on wellies for romps by the stream. Each anode has ample sleeping space for six and comes kitted out with two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen en-suite flushing loo’s, and wood-fired hot tubs. Pets are most welcome.
