Megan, the dog, is often the first to come bounding up to guests with a cheery greeting at this spacious, well-equipped glamping site nestled in the scenic surrounds of the Brecon Beacons. Look for Megan, and you'll find her blending in with the white sheep she is herding (think fluffy Bichon Frise) and spends many a day happily trotting around the lush, 330-acre organic valley, making friends and having a nose around the new visitors. The Davis clan is the fourth generation owners of this splendid beef and sheep farm, which holds a lovely glampsite consisting of a trio of well-equipped, swish shepherd's huts, ideal for stress-free escapes into the hills. The huts rest in a verdant meadow, tastefully placed against the Brecon Beacons landscape. The abodes' exterior gives the impression of tradition, with wooden walls, iron wheels, and corrugated wood. The interior features a range of creature comforts, including underfloor heating, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen area kitted out with a fridge and oven. There's ample room for three adults (or two adults and two kids) to savour the dazzling vistas from the deck and enjoy barbeque sizzles. Pets most welcome.
