An easy five-minute drive leads to the beautiful Fishpools Forest, where visitors can follow an array of way-marked walks winding past gleaming lakes, thundering waterfalls and imposing hills. The Elan Valley is ideal for soaking in views of Victorian Dams, and there are several beautiful picnic spots by the sparkling River Marteg in Gilfach Nature Reserve. Wind down after a day of activity with a scrumptious barbeque or brown marshmallows over a campfire as the stars glitter above. Dogs are welcome.
