Glangwy Farm is a peaceful, quiet farm site located near the River Wye and just half an hour from the scenery of the Elan Valley. Swap the stress and schedules of urban life for the joys of green, open spaces, a slower pace of life, and the serenity of setting up camp in the rolling countryside of Wales. Bring along walking boots, bikes and binoculars to observe an abundance of local wildlife and explore meandering walking and bike trails that crisscross the lush landscape around the park. The camping area rests on a working farm near the gleaming river and offers easy access to local amenities in the village of Llangurig, set an ideal mile away. The quiet hilltop farm provides guests with ample space to stretch out and soak in the idyllic views of sheep and cows grazing in the nearby pastures as red kites circle overhead. Outdoorsy types can discover pursuits to suit all abilities and ages in the area. Ramble past a stretch of reservoirs in the Elan Valley often referred to as the Welsh Lake District. Purchase bangers and other bits to slap on the grill when you get back to base, or settle around a crackling campfire for an evening of stargazing. Dogs welcome.
