Mid Wales Camping and Caravanning at Woodhouse Farm Campsite, is a tranquil countryside site nestled in a heavenly meadow, providing fantastic vistas from each pitch. The registered nature reserve is a splendid, harmonious spot with the sparkling River Marteg running alongside the border and a generous sprinkling of meadowsweet colouring the grounds. Rolling upland pastures enclose the site, with a peppering of caramel cattle and grazing sheep dotting the area. Pitch a tent during the summer months and wake up in a field carpeted with lovely wildflowers, and feel the stress and complexities of modern life fade into the distance as you enjoy open, green, spaces, the freedom to stretch out and a slower pace of life. Spend your mornings listening to the trills of birdsong echoing across the valley as you sip on a cold drink of choice. Take a moment to marvel at the varying hues of harebells, meadow buttercups, white celandine, red clover, meadow vetch, forget-me-nots, hay rattle, and speedwell. The little ones will love observing the local wildlife and getting up close and personal with beetles, bugs and creatures that swim. Keep a lazy eye as the nippers enjoy an afternoon of pond-dipping while you sip on a glass of bubbly or dive into a book.
