Strawberry Skys Yurts

Strawberry Skys Yurts

Located: Campsites in Welshpool, Powys

Strawberry Skys Yurts is a serene, secluded yurt site tucked away on a peaceful smallholding, amid the rolling hills of mid-Wales, just inside the Welsh border. The easily accessible site serves as the perfect base for those who want to enjoy the thrills of countryside camping with a range of creature comforts at hand. The ten-acre smallholding is the ideal base for shaking off modern life's stress in favour of stunning rural views, star-studded night skies, and strawberry sunsets. Settle in for peaceful and scenic stays at this welcoming site, ideally nestled in a lush field sprinkled with willow and cherry trees. The abodes rest on level platforms, providing campers with sweeping views down the valley. There's heaps of space for groups of all sizes to stretch out and soak in the vistas. Take your pick from two traditional Mongolian Yurts or two sturdier wooden constructions. Each unit comes furnished with a bed, a log burner with a fire pit, and seating outside for alfresco evenings and sizzles. The owners aim to provide guests with a blend of creature comforts and traditional camping thrills, so don't expect to find bubbling hot tubs or made beds on arrival. Campers must bring their sheets, cook their dinners, make their campfires and set about enjoying their holiday their way. Canine companions are most welcome to trot along.
