Guests who enjoy the sport of fishing will, no doubt, be pleased to hear this friendly pub site rests within walking distance of the sparkling waters of River Vyrnwy -perfect for hours of mixed coarse and game fishing. Outdoorsy types of all ages and persuasions, including peaceful ambles or lengthy hikes along the scenic Glyndwr's Way, cutting through open moorland, wild woodlands, and lush farmland in Wales. Spend your days getting better acquainted with the spectacular scenery with peaceful walks all around, including the renowned Offa's Dyke Path from Sedbury to Prestatyn. If you're keen to see the landscape minus the hard work, hop on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway and chuff along with a scenic eight and a half-mile track. Mosey back to base for hot meals, a range of tipple and a spacious pitch for unwinding. Canines are welcome all year round.
