The Forge consists of five luxurious bell tents sprinkled across a spacious smallholding in North Wales. The eco-friendly site is the perfect escape for tired minds to unwind in the lush, rolling countryside. The woodland next door offers serene settings, and seclusion yet does not block out the spectacular sunsets often seen across Denbighshire. It’s the perfect place to dive right into a wealth of outdoor activities or sit back and drink in the tranquil surroundings. Guests can reserve one of four luxury abodes, each named after the imposing peaks around the site. Groups of eight can rent out Berwyn which consists of two large tents, each furnished with wood-burning stoves, a communal fire pit, and a large kitchen. The other three abodes named Arenig, Idris and Liberty each sleep four adventurers and are the perfect home away from home. Each tent is carpeted and generously decked out with cosy cushions, blankets, and much-needed duvets. There is a wooden deck for drinking in the views, a campfire area to toast marshmallows under the twinkling stars, a private composting toilet and a covered kitchen for when the weather doesn’t acknowledge you’re on holiday. The rustic kitchens are ideal for simple camping meals and come with running water, a sink, a two-ring stove, and crockery. There are heaps to do around including peaceful walks, communal fire circles at the site’s own Iron Age hill fort, and a twenty-minute drive to Snowdonia and the picturesque town of Llangollen. Guests can sign up for full-day or half-day courses at The Wild Bushcraft Company at the campsite, and get acquainted with the local landscape and wildlife.
