Set on the grounds of a 14th-century manor house, the wildlife haven and stargazing area brims with history and was once visited by Henry VIII of England, one of many famous people who owned or leased the 14th-century manor through the centuries. Today, the stunning campsite is just the place for weary travellers to switch off from mundane schedules of everyday life, and plug into tranquil settings and a laid-back way of life. The campsite allows guests to pitch up almost anywhere, so find a spot with your preferred views and set up camp. Guests will discover unrivalled peace amid the rolling landscapes paired with lovely views of woodlands, and the beautiful Alwen Reservoir. Breathe in the fresh air of the great outdoors. Remote and peaceful are the orders of the day, so feel free to kick back and slow down. The site accommodates wild tent pitches, wild pods and a wild cabin to suit guests of all travel needs and budgets. Each pod sleeps three and comes furnished with a fire ring and interior lighting. The wild cabin offers fantastic views of Mount Snowdon and the Alwen Reservoir and contains a lovely outdoor verandah for watching sunsets. Heaters and bedrolls are available on request. The site welcomes pets and encourages fires.
