The quiet family-run Wern Isaf Caravan and Camping Park site lies on a working farm, just a half-mile from the town of Llangollen. It is a cosy spot to set up camp and enjoy a wealth of exciting outdoor adventures ranging from horse riding and watersport to walking and fishing. Follow the A539, taking a right turn at the Bridge End Hotel and follow a bridge over the canal and voila! A lovely site run by friendly owners await. Take in the beautiful views as you are shown to your pitch. The site accommodates tent, caravan and motorhome pitches with electric hookups and offers some statics for hire as well. Facilities at the park are basic and include a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, and drinking water. There is a kid’s playground for the tots to make friends and easy access to both an outdoor pool and a golf course. A bar, restaurant and shop are all under a five-mile distance from the site. Amateur cyclists can hop on a bike and follow the canal for four miles to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct drinking in splendid views along the way. Then it’s on to the Chapel Tea Room over the road for a deliciously refreshing snack, followed by a quick drive or cycle to Horseshoe Falls where adults and kids can enjoy hours of white water rafting.
