Ideally positioned on the stunning Cilan Headland, Cilan Fawr Campsite is a quiet, family-run campsite set a mere three miles from the beautiful village of Abersoch. Panoramic views are the order of the day, so kick back and take in spectacular vistas of Bardsey Island, Hells Mouth Bay, and the famed Snowdonia mountain range from the comfort of your pitch. The site operates from Easter to October and is a member’s only campsite: however, non-members may sign up for a membership on arrival at Cilan Fawr. The Lleyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the village is a lovely sp[ot for families to enjoy a coastal escape brimming with rambling, surfing, sailing, swimming, cycling and horse riding activities. For added fun head out to the Little Trains of Wales, the magnificent Snowdonia range and the exciting museums and castles sprinkled further afield. Wander through the Lleyn Peninsula to uncover rare flora and fauna, and enjoy breathtaking views of Cardigan Bay, Snowdonia, Hells Mouth Bay, and the lovely Bardsey Island. There are heaps of local beaches nearby so pack in the kids and enjoy an excellent bucket and spade type adventure along the coastline. The night skies are generously sprinkled with twinkling stars, so be sure to pack in a pair of binoculars or a telescope for your stay at the campsite. Guests can use the site as a convenient base for day trips. The Wednesday market in Pwllheli is ideal for stocking up on camping essentials and other knick-knacks.
