Enjoying a fantastic elevated position, overlooking the varying shades of green within the serene Mawddach Estuary, Bwlchgwyn Farm and Pony Trekking is a friendly farm site offering campers pretty spectacular sceneries. This tranquil campsite rests amid some of Wales finest rural landscapes. It blends the facilities of a working farm and an equestrian centre to present horse riding enthusiasts and nature lovers with the ideal settings to set up camp. Ideally set on the border of Snowdonia National Park, Bwlchgwyn Farm is a great place to kick back and survey stunning vistas out to the sandy beach of Fairbourne, the gleaming Mawddach Estuary, and the lively seaside town of Barmouth. The campsite itself rests above the farmhouse on a natural track, enclosed by woodlands rich in flora and fauna with views out towards the coastline of Snowdonia. The camping field consists of generous plots with or without electric, plus a designated wild camping area for those who prefer the seclusion. Cars can be taken to the bases for unloading and parked near or by the pitch. The plots are thoughtfully laid out to ensure each spot enjoys unhindered, jaw-dropping vistas of the lovely estuary below. All the usual facilities are available including free hot showers, a toilet block, laundry services and a washing up area.
