The peaceful Ynys Faig Farm is a small, family-friendly campsite perfectly located against a stunning backdrop of mist-clad hills, lovely bays and sparkling estuaries. This quiet campsite is ideal for families and lies in the coastal village of Fairbourne, a mere five minutes walking distance from the scenic Cardigan Bay. History buffs and little adventurers are sure to be all agog with regards to the famed dragon’s teeth – tank traps used to foil invasion attempts during World War II. The beach of Barmouth is where these pieces of history lie, so hop in the car and take a thirty-minute drive into the seaside resort for a lovely day out with the family. Don’t forget to bring the pup along as village holds two dog-walking areas plus two pubs serving homemade food and refreshing ales. Be sure to keep an eye out for dolphins when you’re there. The small yet attractive seaside village of Fairbourne has a grocery store that stocks the usual camping essentials, a popular fish and chips place, and a local butcher stocking a range of quality local meats – perfect for a barbie back at the campsite. Charcoal for the grill and cold drinks are also available in the village of Fairbourne. The site offers a limited number of caravan and motorhome pitches. Plots come furnished with or without electric hookups. Shared facilities include chemical disposal, restrooms, a washing up area and showers. Fur babies are more than welcome to tag along.
