Gwerniago Campsite is the perfect base for a family-friendly stay nestled amid the magical green valleys and rocky outcrops of southern Snowdonia. The kid-friendly site enjoys spectacular views over the rolling hills of mid-Wales and the River Dyfi's sparkling waters. The quiet farmland location rests within easy reach of the nearest beach. The friendly owners are more than happy to welcome kids, plus encourage all guests to enjoy the delights of traditional camping like campfires and barbeques. The farm lies tucked away in the scenic Dovey Valley, with the camping area located in a large field, divided by shrubs and natural oak. The owners have lived and farmed in the area for over three generations and provide guests with great insight into a working farm's daily life. Rumble through the gates at tea time, and the whole family can observe owner Trevor's (adorable) sheepdog herding a flock back into their respective field. There are heaps of exciting outdoor activities that cater to a range of ages and abilities. Head out for open-air pursuits like river walking, cycling, fishing and golfing. The nippers will have heaps of fun as they hop on Sophie the pony and canter around the site or help feed the lambs in season. Little explorers will love the wooded play area kitted out with a tree swing. Guests can opt for stays on optional electric and hardstanding pitches or stay in a three-bedroom static caravan. Pets welcome.
